Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be joining our growing team focused on building Generative AI applications for document summarization, classification, question and answering using unstructured data. This team works with companies of all sizes from startups to Fortune 100.
You will develop applications on Google Cloud, work with customers to understand their requirements, suggest new ideas and features to the team to further improve the product, and implement the new functionalities with a passion for quality.
You will work with your team to design, document, implement, test and support the build, deployment, and configuration management systems that abstract and automate the code to deployment workflow for application development teams building microservices to be deployed on GCP.
You will provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations. Work directly with Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and SRE teams to set goals, design and implement solutions in support of modern engineering culture, processes and systems, increase developer productivity, code velocity and quality.

Skills
- Required hands-on experience:
- Google Cloud: IAM, Networking, Observability, gcloud SDK, GCS, etc.
- Terraform.
- Shell scripting.
- Python, Java, JavaScript or other programming languages.
- Ideal candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following:
- CI/CD automation and orchestration (Jenkins, Cloud Build, Tekton, Spinnaker).
- Infrastructure/systems logging and monitoring (New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Infrastructure actuation/automation (Ansible or similar tools).
- Public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and key platforms (k8s, VMs).

Other Relevant Details
