Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Eastcastle Place is seeking a Senior Care Driver to join our team and provide exceptional transportation services to our residents. As a Senior Care Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments, activities, and outings, ensuring they arrive on time and in comfort. Your role will help promote independence, dignity, and a sense of security for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, compassionate, and dependable nature, with a strong focus on safety and hospitality service. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team are essential to success in this role.

 

What you Will Do:

• Provide safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for residents to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean, properly maintained, and equipped for resident needs.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain a schedule for resident transportation and communicate with the care team to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Provide friendly, compassionate, and respectful service to residents during each interaction.
• Ensure all transportation-related paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
• Be responsive to any emergency or last-minute transportation needs as required by the facility.
• Promote a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in driving larger vehicles (15-passenger van or similar).
• Experience in handicap transportation, specifically driving individuals in wheelchairs
• Experience in customer satisfaction, and customer service skills 
• Experience in senior care or transportation services preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with seniors and their families.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to assist with lifting and transferring residents, if needed, in a safe and respectful manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
