Job Summary
Responsible for developing and executing strategic community-impact initiatives aligned to Comcast Military engagementgoals. This role operates at the intersection of community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder relations, managing high-impact programs and partnerships aligned with Comcast’s mission and public-policy objectives. The Manager builds and sustains relationships with nonprofit organizations, military support networks, civic leaders, and internal teams to deliver measurable community outcomes. This role also contributes to the broader External Affairs function, which includes public-policy support, local relationship management, and strategic communications.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
•Lead the development and implementation of community impact programs focused on military families, veterans, and underserved communities.
•Serve as a liaison with nonprofit leaders, military organizations, and local officials to strengthen community ties and support Comcast’s public affairs goals.
•Plan and lead employee volunteer events, community outreach programs, and external affairs engagements.
•Cultivate cross-sector partnerships to advance digital opportunity, digital literacy, and economic empowerment.
•Align programs with Comcast’s broader CSR strategy, leveraging initiatives like Project UP, Team UP, and employee resource groups (ERGs).
•Work with internal teams—such as Government Affairs, I&I, Corporate Community Impact, and Communications—to ensure alignment and integration of efforts.
•Analyze key performance indicators, report outcomes, and use data to improve future programming.
•Maintain a deep understanding of military-connected communities and the nonprofit ecosystem that supports them.
