About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Partnerships Leader for our Americas team to join our executive team. This role will report into our VP of Partnerships and have a number of direct reports currently consisting of 2 members, with the opportunity to grow the team further. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth through collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

   • Develop and execute a comprehensive global partnerships strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
   • Identify and prioritize potential partners that align with our strategic objectives and can drive significant value.

2. Team Management:

   • Lead, mentor, and develop the existing partnerships team, fostering a high-performance culture.
   • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members as the team expands.

3. Partnership Development:

   • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners, including technology providers, distributors, resellers, and other strategic alliances.
   • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts that drive mutual benefits and long-term value.

4. Collaboration and Integration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
   • Ensure that partnership activities are aligned with the company’s broader business strategy and objectives.

5. Performance Management:

   • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the partnerships team to ensure alignment with business goals.
   • Regularly report on partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

6. Market and Industry Analysis:

   • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to ensure the company remains ahead of the curve.
   • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis and partner feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and managing global partnerships.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
