Job Description

Your role:

  • Leading the supply planning process for a large, stable business, ensuring timely updates for meetings and strategic decision-making while maintaining smooth operations. Verifying and approve mid-to-long-term supply planning schedules, facilitating comprehensive alignment through the sales and operations planning review process.
  • Driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the supply planning segment from request receipt to order confirmation, utilizing insights from market analysis and supplier communications for efficient execution. Optimizing production schedules and prioritizing orders through advanced planning systems, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Leading supply planning team talent, engaging stakeholders to enhance operations and implement new supply planning concepts. Ensuring the integration of innovative practices into the operational framework through scenario mapping and forward-thinking strategies.
  • Developing production plans and accurately forecast supply needs for individual product categories, maintaining optimal operational efficiency. Managing resources effectively to support organizational objectives, leveraging strategic budgeting processes.
  • Continuously reviewing supply planning performance and plan for future enhancements, aligning with business goals and industry trends. Utilizing root cause analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential constraints, ensuring smooth operations and successful execution.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Your skills include:
    • A demonstrated ability to lead supply planners and/or Operational Materials Management (OMM).
    • Deep understanding of the S&OP process, ERP systems (SAP preferred), end-to-end supply chain and demand and supply planning.
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis, Business Administration or equivalent field of study.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a clear, effective communicator who collaborates globally while influencing others and driving change.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in PA is $114,000 to $182,000.

The pay range for this position in MA is $128,000 to $204,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
