What this job involves:
This position serves as a vital support role partnering with the Assistant Program Manager to coordinate and facilitate Amazon corporate events across key office buildings in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will manage comprehensive event responsibilities including processing customer requests, coordinating planning meetings with stakeholders and vendor partners, managing space preparation, and providing on-site event coverage. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by serving as an essential communication hub between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial, and Engineering teams while leading outdoor event facilitation and coordinating with Arlington County for space booking and Community Activation team events.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Process event requests and correspond with Amazon customers while coordinating planning and walkthrough meetings with vendor partners
- Lead facilitation of outdoor events for Amazon organizers and assist in booking space between internal stakeholders and Arlington County
- Coordinate with Community Activation team to schedule layouts and setups for Spring-Fall event series and one-off events
- Provide on-site coverage and troubleshooting during high impact events while leading outdoor events coordination from AM&E perspective
- Organize and compile event data metrics while creating and maintaining standardized event documents
- Disseminate information to large audiences including alerting building occupants and vendors of event-related impacts
- Provide necessary support to other coordinators and Assistant Program Delivery Managers for larger event coverage.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4 years of experience preferred • 3+ years of experience in event coordination or event administrative support
- Advanced competence with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and other software programs
- Ability to perform basic business math including discount, interest, percentage, and profit/loss calculations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong grammar and proofreading abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with positive, professional, customer-service oriented personality
- Ability to work independently with little direction while maintaining initiative for additional responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in facilities management
- Microsoft Visio or CAD experience for space planning and layout coordination
- Experience with outdoor event coordination and municipal space booking processes
- Background in multi-vendor coordination and communication management between diverse teams
- Understanding of event logistics including space preparation, on-site troubleshooting, and community activation events
- Experience interpreting instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.

Estimated compensation for this position:
65,400.00 – 94,900.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
