Job Description

Title: Director Program Management, PXP USA

Reports into Managing Director, Business Operations

The Director Program Management plays a pivotal role in operationalizing new business (net new + organic growth), then overseeing and directing those businesses within a dynamic, forward thinking studio environment. Overarching goals for this position:

  • Have curatorial knowledge of the full range of PXP offerings and services. 
  • Ensure frictionless process across all of PXP's capabilities.
  • Lead global and US retained client engagements. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Direction
    • Partner with peers across PXP functions and Publicis Groupe agencies to develop and implement strategies and executional plans for omni-channel content creation, ensuring alignment with client goals and market trends.
    • Drive the definition and evolution of innovative, effective, efficient methodologies and ways of working to execute these plans.
    • Oversee the project pipeline to meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of project management professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging creativity and efficiency in omni-channel content creation project planning and implementation.
    • Encourage continuous improvement, learning from both success and failure.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
    • Optimize project management team performance in managing a portfolio of retained clients and agency projects.
      • Collaborate closely with peers and other team members to sell-in work, present strategies, create concepts, develop / deploy the content.
      • Collaborate with Finance on project budgets, billing and required supporting financial documents.
      • Work with Legal on inter-agency and client / agency contracts and other legal instruments.
      • Seek feedback from the client on key milestones in the project and ensure that their feedback is addressed appropriately.
      • Act as a primary point of contact for client communication, understanding their needs, and ensuring that PXP work product meets their specifications and goals.
  • Project Oversight
    • Work with the PXP Growth Team to operationalize net new and organic growth initiatives.
    • Document, implement and maintain ways of working in support of omni-channel content creation, ensuring flexibility, adaptability, and quick response to changes in project scope or client demands.
    • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Resource Allocation and Budget Management
    • Manage resources, including budget, equipment, and personnel, to ensure optimal utilization for project success working in partnership with appropriate functions across PXP
    • Work closely with finance and operational teams to maintain cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure the creation of high-quality omni-channel content that aligns with client objectives, utilizing innovative ways of working to ensure efficient and effective project delivery that meets / exceeds client expectations in terms of quality, timing, and budget.
    • Partner with PXP functions to ensure the quality of content produced, ensuring that it meets industry standards and client expectations.
    • Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to enhance content quality and efficiency.

The Program Management Director plays a critical role in steering omni-channel content creation strategies and ensuring the seamless execution of projects. They must possess strong leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of project methodologies and other ways of working to excel in this dynamic and challenging role.

 

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within content creation, marketing, or advertising, preferably in a studio or agency setting.
  • Strong understanding and application of project management methodologies to create omni-channel content with focus on digital and social.
