Project Strategy Manager

At Viva Wallet we are currently looking for a Project Strategy Manager based in Viva HQ in Athens.

The ideal candidate will act like a portfolio manager for strategic projects and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring long-term plans and strategic initiatives/ programs that support the growth and success of the business.

More specifically, as a Project Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding in depth the people and organizational implications of transformational change from strategy through to execution
• Understanding and executing long-term business strategies based on the organization’s vision, mission, values and objectives.
• Managing and coaching cross functional teams or departments involved in the execution of the strategies ; IT Technology, multiple business functions, Operations.
• Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the progress and outcomes of the strategies by using specific KPIs.
• Identifying and mitigating risks, developing contingency plans, and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicating strategic project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including upper management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a project manager or/and consultant with Technology & Business background, where you can demonstrate that you have developed your business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of how organizations manage change based on the company’s strategy.
• Communication and storytelling skills that allow you to confidently convey and explain complex information, orally and written, in both Greek and in English
• Demonstrating Leadership, strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines, while maintaining the high quality of deliverables
• A confident and positive attitude, focused on building relationships and working in diverse teams.
• An MBA or a master’s degree in a relevant area of focus is not required but will be considered an asset.
• Working experience in relevant industry is not required but will be considered an asset.
