Your New Role
This role will support Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Themed Entertainment, and DC Publishing with business planning & insights, deal analysis, financial modeling, revenue and expense forecasting, and preparation of executive presentations.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Support significant new business opportunities in the consumer products, themed entertainment, and publishing businesses with financial modeling, strategic analysis, and executive communications.
- Partner across the studio to evaluate new content and franchise opportunities, including film and TV green light analyses.
- Lead divisional long-range planning process, working with counterparts in CP, themed entertainment, and DC publishing to align on key assumptions, translate strategies into revenue and expense projections, create scenario analyses, and communicate plans to WBD executives.
- Work across finance org to prepare executive communications related to forecasts, budgets, and other ad hoc business needs.
- Support VP, Strategy, Business, & Financial planning with additional ad hoc projects and initiatives as they arise.
- Build relationships with other studio-wide finance teams and bring back insights and best practices to share with broader CP/GTE/DC finance team.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8-12 years in FP&A, corporate development, strategic planning, or management consulting
- Previous experience with media, entertainment, or consumer products industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar field required
- MBA preferred
- Advanced Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint required
- Superior communication and presentation skills; must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons at all levels
- Intermediate financial modeling
- High level of intellectual curiosity that sparks communication, collaboration, and innovation; must have a willingness to look beyond surface requirements.
- Ability to adapt and be agile amongst a changing environment and to translate complex problems into solutions
- Willingness to collaborate with management and peers to advance team and company goals
- High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to flourish under pressure
- Detail-oriented, but also able to summarize complex ideas succinctly and develop compelling narratives
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to expand knowledge relating to industry drivers and trends

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
