Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking an energetic and self-motivated entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse, sustainable, and challenging projects for our Spokane office.

We are looking for someone who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in being mentored by a senior engineer in HVAC, plumbing, and piping design, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry.  We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person.  The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in the HVAC consulting engineering field. 

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BSME or BS Architectural Engineering with mechanical and energy, or sustainability emphasis.
• Completion of classes related to building mechanical systems.
• ASHRAE student membership and involvement (preferred)
• Experience with Revit MEP (preferred)
• Experience with Energy Modeling Software (preferred)
• Previous work experience in building system design or construction (preferred)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Desire to work as a pro-active team player.
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
• Salary range $67,000-$79,000
