Job Description:
The Talent Development Associate contributes to the planning and execution of talent development initiatives across the firm. This role supports the full lifecycle of learning programs, including coordination, content management, data tracking, and stakeholder communication. The Associate partners with team members to ensure high-quality program delivery, contributes to the development of educational content aligned to business needs, and maintains tools and systems that support learning and engagement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage logistics for programs, sessions, and events from end-to-end, including scheduling, communications, material preparation, and day-of coordination
- Draft and/or send communications related to learning initiatives and coordinate the production and distribution of participant materials.
- Act as a liaison with internal partners and external vendors to support program execution and resolve logistical or delivery-related issues.
- Monitor and report on program participation, completion, and engagement trends, providing insights and flagging opportunities to the team
- Maintain and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading and updating content, coordinating with subject matter experts to gather and review content, and testing courses to ensure functionality and quality prior to launch
- Coordinate with Corporate Services to confirm room setups, AV needs, and catering for in-person events
- Manage the administration of employee surveys, including distribution and system setup; compile and summarize survey results
- Support the design and enhancement of programs by gathering feedback and performing basic needs assessments
- Co-facilitate internal learning sessions or events as needed, with comfort leading portions of content
- Develop and maintain documentation on key team processes, program workflows, and learning operations
- Stay informed about current trends and emerging tools in learning and development
- Contribute to cross-functional HR projects or initiatives on an ad hoc basis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality results
- Ability to be self-guided and motivated, working to complete tasks thoroughly and requesting assistance if needed
- Desire to build knowledge of Talent Development and the Financial Services industry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and data accuracy when handling employee information
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
PREFERRED
- Asset Management or Financial Services industry experience
- Project management experience
