BEGiN has a new opportunity for a Senior Director of Product to join our growing team! This role can be remote-based in select US locations*.

Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, the Senior Director of Product will lead our product team and drive the success of a multi-dimensional product strategy, including digital, physical, and experiential products, both internal and with external partners (e.g. Sesame Workshop). The Director of Product will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of the product roadmap and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and mentor their team, and effectively collaborate with a diverse cross-functional internal/external team which have varying timelines, processes, and stakeholders, while also being hands-on in the product development process. 

You will:

  • Lead and evolve the product vision and strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with company business objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Learning, and Marketing to drive product development, delivery, and Go-To-Market planning.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform/validate strategic direction
  • Analyze and interpret product data to make informed decisions about product development and strategy
  • Ensure timely and successful product launches, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Define and track product metrics, and report on progress to senior management
  • Manage and maintain Partner Relationship(s)
  • Manage and mentor the product management team, providing organizational structure, guidance, and support.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 4 years managing a team
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products, including digital/software
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of product development processes, market trends, and customer needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Experience in EdTech, Children’s Media, or the Education Space

Nice-to-Haves:

  • A passion for education and learning 
  • Experience producing multi-media content, including live video
  • Experience leading projects with licensing partners in children’s IP space
  • Experience with subscription products

This role is not eligible for CO state.

Salary $175,000 - $200,000. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors. We're able to answer any additional questions you may have as you move through the interview process.
