Job Description

Job Summary

The Data Analyst - Performance Improvement will play a crucial role in analyzing healthcare data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support performance improvement initiatives across Shriners Hospitals for Children. This position will translate complex data into actionable insights to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists and supports Director with Patient Relation, Patient Safety and Patient Experience activities

  • Manages and serves as administrator for the policy and procedure management system

  • Supports and assists Director with Regulatory and Accreditation activities

  • Collects data and prepares a variety of reports including Patient Experience, Hospital and Quality Dashboards, Risk Management, Compliance 360, and Infection Control accurately and in a timely manner

  • Displays data using appropriate performance improvement, statistical, and graphic tools


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years of Quality Management and Performance Improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience highly preferred

  • 2 years of Joint Commission preparation preferred

  • Experience building reports in Epic EMR

The pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
