Description

Main Purpose of the Role

• Design, implement, and manage data lake architecture to support business needs.
• Monitor and optimize data lake performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate data sources and support analytics initiatives.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Maintain documentation of data lake processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field- advantage
• Proven experience in data lake administration, data management, or a similar role- must
• MS-SQL Administrator- must
• Deep knowledge with: Azure Data-Factory, Synapse, Data-Fabric
• Terraform- significant advantage
• Strong knowledge of data lake technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based solutions. Azure- must, AWS- Advantage
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala- advantage
• Experience with data governance and security practices- advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English, written and verbal
