Job Description
Overview
The Project Manager, Apollo – Logistics is accountable for executing Logistics workstreams related to Kraft Heinz's multi-year, $450MM network restructuring project (Apollo). The scope of this role’s accountability for project management includes but is not limited to, design/construction coordination, timelines, budget, resources, and project status communication. The individual in this position will be an expert adept in the complexities of logistics costs, and capital processes while driving both financial and performance results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the maintenance management system, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities
- Work cross-functionally to define MMS requirements against the capabilities of internal and external systems and make recommendations
- Support equipment commissioning, functional and rate testing as training documentation, and handoff
- Oversee the development and customization of the maintenance management system to meet and align with KHC maintenance best practices
- Define and document parts requisition management process
- Define and document the work order management process
- Define parts inventory management process and capital planning
- Drive tactical decisions about project execution and ongoing operational SOPs.
- Responsible for building operational readiness and startup success plan
- Generate project implementation plans, startup KPIs and measures of success, operational plans and contingencies, transition plans, and related change management and communication
- Support productivity and system ramp-up
- Work with our partners to conduct failure mode and effect analysis as well as bug fixes
- Works cross-functionally with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to identify and align inter-dependencies and manage the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to closeout
- Reveal critical decision points and cultivate recommendations to leadership for alignment and approval to move the project forward
- Own project documentation and change management practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (Engineering preferred)
- 4-7 years of applicable experience in automated warehousing, reliability engineering, and implementation of maintenance management systems
- Experience in equipment reliability tracking and metrics and dashboards such as OEE,
