<p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>Help shape the future of the LEGO® product portfolio!</p><p>We are looking for an experienced product portfolio risk management professional to develop and drive a global risk framework that secures smarter decisions from idea to launch. In this role, you will identify and mitigate key portfolio risks related to LEGO products, collaborate with senior leaders, and turn insights into action – ensuring our products deliver on both strategic and commercial ambitions.<br/> </p><p>We do not offer relocation for this position<br/> </p><p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Develop and Implement Risk Management Framework</b>: Create and maintain a comprehensive product portfolio risk management framework that addresses end-to-end risks throughout the product development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p><b>Risk Identification and Mitigation</b>: Identify, analyse, and prioritize top product portfolio risks, both related to feasibility, viability and desirability risks</p></li><li><p><b>Mitigation Planning</b>: Establish and maintain proactive mitigation plans and continency playbooks for identified risks, ensuring readiness for potential challenges and being aligned with strategic objectives</p></li><li><p><b>Partner Collaboration</b>: Collaborate with senior management, cross-functional project teams and immediate colleagues to build and communicate risk insights and recommendations, fostering a culture of proactive risk management.</p></li><li><p><b>Performance Metrics</b>: Develop and implement metrics to continuously monitor portfolio risks, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making processes.</p></li><li><p><b>Facilitate Risk Discussions</b>: Lead risk discussions at project gates and critical decision points, ensuring that all relevant perspectives are considered and integrated into risk management strategies.<br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>Play your part in our</b> <b>team succeeding</b></p><p>You will join the Portfolio Management team, who oversees planning and executive decision making of the full LEGO product portfolio – from early ideation to launch – balancing strategic and commercial objectives, capacity constraints, cost drivers and portfolio risks.</p><p>Portfolio Operations is a small team – within the Portfolio Management team - dedicated to and specialized in operational concerns both towards Product &amp; Marketing Development but also the broader Operations and Market organizations. On behalf of these, we govern aspects like the global product plan, complexity management, risk management, design for service and general portfolio data management. In addition, we have ownership of the different systems platforms applied to these tasks.<br/> </p><p><b>Do</b> <b>you</b> <b>have</b> <b>what</b> <b>it</b> <b>takes?</b></p><p>The ideal candidate brings solid experience in risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the product lifecycle, preferably from a large global matrix organization with complicated partner maps and from FMCG industry or general business consultancy. In addition, we expect that you have:</p><ul><li><p>Familiarity with risks specifically associated with product development, market launch, and the ability to foresee future implications on the portfolio</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, incl coordinating cross-functional teams to align impact across the full value chain</p></li><li><p>Understanding of value chain and market dynamics combined with commercial strategies, including how they influence product risks and the overall portfolio performance</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to collaborate with development, commercial, and operational teams to ensure that all aspects of product risks are considered and addressed, fostering a cohesive approach to portfolio management</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including understanding of advanced analytical methods</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
