This is an onsite position that can be based in one of the following P&W locations: West Palm Beach, FL or East Hartford, CT or Oklahoma City, OK.
The Quality Systems and Compliance (QS&C) Lead for Sustainment Quality will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) across the Military Engines Sustainment Network, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves coordinating quality assurance activities, conducting audits, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality objectives are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
What You Will Do:
- Harmonize the Sustainment Quality QMS with the higher-level P&W QMS, and vice versa.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Support the activation of new sites to include development of applicable QMS documentation, audit capabilities and certification.
- Develop and implement appropriate metrics and tools to track quality performance across the network.
- Lead training and qualification initiatives that raise knowledge of quality and QMS purpose and requirements.
- Implement and/or improve existing Management Review, CAB and other core quality reviews to drive a more complete and decision producing set of quality reviews.
- Travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Advanced degree and 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering experience in Aviation, Space or Defense or other regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in quality management systems, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
- AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate and Lead Auditor experience.
- Six Sigma, Advanced Lean Certifications, or Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
- Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metrics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
