Within the Vehicle Motion Division we design and develop state-of-the art safety and motion solutions for passenger cars, light trucks, and up to medium heavy truck. Vehicle Motion provides solutions for mobility through steering, braking, occupant safety, and vehicle dynamic sensors. Vehicle Motion is also a leader in the software and services that will support the future of Software Defined Vehicles.
Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role leverages their analytical and organizational skills to support strategic marketing topics, including innovation program management, market analysis, digital media campaigns for internal and external communications.
Activities include:
- Oversee innovation programming; set targets, facilitate workshops and partner with others to drive regional results
- Development and execution of internal communications strategy, priorities, and messaging
- Support political consulting topics, messaging, and request for comment periods
- Collect, analyze and interpret market intelligence to form actionable insights that address key strategic challenges and opportunities
- Develop easy-to-digest reports, digital media content and presentation materials
Qualifications
Required:
- Professional marketing experience
- 2+ years experience in motivating cross-functional, global entities (particularly including engineering/business/marketing)
- 2+ years experience in facilitating and designing innovation programming
- Communications experience, such as developing strategy, messaging, and/or materials
Preferred:
- 1+ years experience in design thinking and/or business development, identifying, analyzing, and acting upon market-based, user-centric opportunities
- A marked ability to work in diverse and cross-functional teams
- Strong, dynamic interpersonal skills - ability to communicate in a clear, concise and compelling manner with excellent English grammar
- Ability to think and act independently
- Experience integrating a continuous improvement mindset into daily responsibilities
- Ability to plan, organize and execute in an unstructured environment
- Proficient with making presentations to all levels of cross functional, global teams. Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Premier Pro are primary tools
- Automotive work experience, particularly in the areas of active safety, actuation, vehicle sensing, steering and/or passive safety
