We are looking for a curious student who is interested in learning more about what it takes to manage an internship program. The Human Resources Intern will gain experience in understanding of talent management topics across the end-to-end employee experience. The Capstone Project will be focused around the topic of internal mobility; reviewing insights from existing and future People & Culture programs and initiatives to begin formulating a comprehensive view for how they interconnect and impact the Employee Journey.
Where you'll be planted:This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days/week on-site in our King of Prussia, PA location.You must be able to commit to a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday. Hours can be flexible based on coursework.

What You Will Work On During This Internship

  • Assist in onboarding of other Summer Interns; act as point person for all day-to-day Internship program activities for the Intern class
  • Coordinate and host meetings for the Intern class, including scheduling, communications, and tracking progress for the Capstone presentations.
  • Create and collect feedback on surveys; turn feedback into actionable initiatives in partnership with Director, Talent Management & Manager, Enterprise Training
  • Refine Internship Program Playbook, including the scope of what the program is, tools and resources for Host Departments, and marketing collateral
  • Provide support for creation of communications and collateral for program launch; pre-and-post support for information sessions (Talent Review; Engagement Survey)
  • Assist with documenting updates to program SOPs; organize program materials for future access; curate FAQs where needed
  • Provide support for data collection, consolidation, and visualization for program action items
  • Support file and data audits (I-9 Documentation and Employee Files)
  • Support organization of HR SharePoint site
  • Ad hoc HR support as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be attending an accredited college or university and working towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Human Resources, or another 4-year degree focused on Human Resources or a related major
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have current U.S. work authorization

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong people skills, with an ability to work with empathy
  • Task and project-oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness and willingness to learn
  • Ability to listen, understand, and be able to convey and concisely explain ideas
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
