Renal Denervation (RDN) is an innovative procedure that helps patients’ lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third of adults. The role is a unique opportunity to bring forward a medical device that will potentially transform healthcare around the world.We are looking for a Global Senior Product Manager to join the Global Renal Denervation (RDN) team. In this role, you will develop and execute innovative marketing plans, create unique product messaging, and champion new approaches to marketing opportunities for the Symplicity Renal Denervation system. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with regional marketing peers across the globe and with internal cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategic plans, provide expert support, and manage multiple projects to achieve business goals. A Day in the Life:
Product Management
- You will partner with global and US cross-functional commercial partners to lead the continued global and US launches for the Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System
- You will assist in the development of marketing plans designed to meet business goals and ensure successful response from customers.
- You will develop unique product messaging and competitive positioning
- You will identify and champion new and creative approaches to marketing opportunities and challenges including development and execution of innovative multi-channel campaigns.
- You will create objectives, work plans, and metrics that are aligned with department strategies
- You will independently direct projects and manage multiple responsibilities while simultaneously maintaining a clear focus on objectives and financial performance expectations
- You will work with the Group Marketing Manager to gather, assess, and present key data inputs into the integrated business planning (IBP) process
Customer Engagement
- You will actively lead physician discussions related to renal denervation and incorporate their input into your marketing plans.
- You will represent the ‘voice of the customer’ and drive optimal utilization of market information and analysis to guide insights and decision-making.
- You will provide support to customers through national conferences, regional programs, key account visits and regional inquiries.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- You will work closely with regional marketing peers to ensure alignment on annual strategic plans including account targeting and segmentation, pricing, forecasting and evidence dissemination globally.
- You will provide senior management and cross-functional partners with updates, reports, content, and presentations regarding marketing initiatives.
- You will provide expert support to global sales & marketing teams via sales training and help with execution of product launches and marketing campaigns.
- You will build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand, define and drive key elements of marketing and launch plans including market research, supply forecasting, tracking R&D updates, and evidence generation and communication.
Travel
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the U.S. and internationally
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of marketing, sales, sales support or technical experience to be considered (5 years with Advanced Degree)
