Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM plus overtime as needed.
Work Location: Kirkwood, NY
Pay: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS/ ABILITIES
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Knowledge of all door components.
- Efficient with multiple manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square, Screwdriver.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- May involve some repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
- Due to the open environment of the facility, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
- Ability to lift to 50+ lbs. frequently.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function of the job in order not to have any disruptions in production and customer service.
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Previous work experience in a production environment, preferred.
