Sr. Vice President, Information & Technology

About the role

As our Sr. VP, IT you are responsible for all aspects of the company’s information technology vision and its execution across the organization. This includes the planning, development, and support of enterprise IT systems for the core company operations in clinical trials.

You are responsible for ensuring the integrity and robustness of the company’s IT infrastructure including security, performance, resiliency, uptime, and validation compliance (where applicable). This position reports to our Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel.

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Day to day Heartfelt leadership of the global technology organization contributing through thought leadership, cross-functional collaboration, professionalism, and personnel development.
• Responsible for ensuring that technology roadmap and adoption plans align with Allucent’s strategic goals and objectives, and results in an industry-competitive and cost-effective technology stack
• Develop and maintain operating procedures / business processes
• Support business stakeholders in strategic planning and achieving results through IT-driven efficiencies
• Interpret evolving market trends, requirements, compliance, and operational needs/opportunities in the clinical space
• Ensure necessary IT integration with software providers, partners and/or acquisitions.
• Provide support for the company’s marketing technology stack and the company web site
• Identify and deliver the technology and business process changes that will reduce the cost and improve the profitability of clinical trial management
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain top IT talent
• Explore the potential for AI applications and other emerging technologies to support the business (i.e., be the technology visionary for the company)

Requirements

About you

Given the scope of the role across all operations of the business and the data required, as our Sr. VP, IT you must have detailed understanding of and insights into the company’s business processes, internal and external constituent experiences, business continuity, and the ongoing achievement of company objectives.

To be successful we are looking for the following traits and behaviors:

• BS/BA Information Technology or Engineering; advanced degree desired, especially MBA combined with relevant industry experience preferably in a Clinical Research Organization or related.
• Tangible track record of inspirational leadership and personnel development
• Recent experience and tangible body of work in IT Security and regulatory compliance including Experience with Veeva data capture systems, significant depth in emerging technology capabilities, Cloud delivery models, M&A integration, and domain knowledge to understand the needs of each critical department in the firm.
• Specific experience developing and implementing global applications that leverage mobility and cloud computing
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong ability to develop cross-functional relationships with respect and credibility to contribute and influence ideas and decisions
• Excellent communication skills; ability to present to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors with confidence and credibility
