About the Role

Responsible for general accounting activities, preparation of financial statements related reconciliation schedules, review of close items and supporting audit and reviews from external auditors. Administers approved accounting practices throughout the company to assure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for effective operations. ERP system improvements and new system integrations.

You will be reporting directly to the Corporate Director and US Controller who brings strong company and financial experience. You will collaborate closely with a group of dedicated professionals, each contributing their unique skills and expertise to our collective success. What You Will Do 

  • Responsible for preparing global financial statement flux analysis and account reconciliations, including but not limited to Accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, intangible assets, other receivable and other assets, other payable and other liabilities. 
  • Support regional teams for lease accounting. 
  • Responsible for reviewing regional balance sheet flux and working with regional team to improve accounting accuracy.
  • Responsible for coordination with various regions and entities within the company to gather financial data and supporting documents.
  • Responsible for implementing global accounting policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for monitoring the completion of regional quarterly close controls.
  • Responsible for system and process improvements to enhance global closing procedures and process.
  • Prepare financial statements related schedules and packages for consolidation and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Support regional teams to improve the accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions and processes.
  • Plans and coordinates organizational activities, establishing priorities to meet the designated deadlines, goals, and objectives.

What You Need

  • Four-year college degree in an accounting related field or relevant accounting education. CPA.
  • Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • SAP system experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (Training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards).
  • Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards. (Training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards).
