About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling production orders and assigning work within the department.
- Responsible for preparing batch tickets, inventory verification, material staging, and batch ticket completion.
- Communicate daily with Planning team to prioritize customer needs and schedule work accordingly.
- Support Leads and/or Supervisor with additional tasks as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts
- Work closely with the Production Leads to make sure customer priority orders are scheduled.
- Interact with Planning, Customer Service and Quality Control to resolve system set up issues.
- Utilize open order report to ensure all orders are prioritized and scheduled in a timely format
- Must have attention to detail and perform verification that all labels are accurate and match to the batch order tickets.
- Pick and stage Extraction, Blending, and Packaging materials to the point of use
- Determine designated areas for delivery of items to each location in the plant and return of these items after production has been completed
- Determine designated areas for finished goods within the freezer, cooler, and warehouse from each of the three departments.
- Involvement in the organization, rotation, picking, and putting away of all refrigerated materials
- Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Forklift certification required. Stand Up, Reach, Sit Down.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a production setting.
- Must have attention to detail and can perform basic mathematics.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite basics.
- Ability to manually lift 50 lbs.
- May be required to stand for long periods of time.
- Must follow safety requirements, forklift policy and wear required PPE.
- Must have the desire to learn and consistently participate in ongoing operations management.
- Skilled in planning and organizing workload for efficiency.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary range: $19.65 - $29.48
The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.
