In this role, you will report to the (JOB TITLE OF HIRING MANGER) and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: $21/hr. - $22.50/hr.

What we’re looking for 

• Education: High school diploma required;

• Experience: 1-2 years' experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service

• Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• A valid driver's license is a prerequisite.

• Familiarity with NOSTAS is a beneficial skill.

• Adherence to all company and customer requisites concerning background checks, health and safety, as well as security clearances.

• Possession of strong communication skills.

• Proven excellence in customer service, accompanied by a professional and can-do attitude.

• Diligently perform duties with a primary focus on safety and quality.

• Capacity to comprehend and adhere to site protocols, policies, and procedures.

• Demonstrated flexibility, forward-thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Proficiency in task prioritization and meeting deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:

• Manage logistical operations involving the shipping and receiving of materials in collaboration with third-party couriers.

• Receive materials through the customer Oracle system.

• Scrutinize and archiving crucial documentation.

• Generate various documents and labels.

• Record material receipts in the site database/tracker.

• Prepare materials for shipping.

• Provide services related to material handling, movement, and storage.

• Ensure the ongoing updates and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

• Fulfilling all internal and customer training requirements.

• Undertaking additional tasks as assigned.

• A valid driver's license is required, as this role involves operating a box truck for material transportation.
