Engagement Model: Temporary employment; Full-time (40 hours/week)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday during regular business hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking an Onsite Project Moderator to join our team for a new data collection project in Santa Clara County, California! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.

Role Summary

The Project Moderator will be based in Santa Clara County, California, and will engage directly with both remote and onsite participants, ensuring the user study and data collection requirements are met. Their main duties include moderating user sessions, updating the production team, troubleshooting data collection technology and creating a positive experience for participants.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person or remote user study and data collection for projects
• Set up and break down study session areas
• Manage study device inventory
• Prepare, set up, and troubleshoot study devices
• Communicate between study/collection and participants
• Ensure participant adherence to relevant study protocols
• Track, review, and clean collected data
• Gather and manage data from test devices
• Record other requested non-data related information and/or study session issues
• Communicate day-to-day results, statuses, and issues pertaining to user study and data collection projects

Role Requirements – Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related fields preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
• Basic technical knowledge and experience in using iOS
• Hardware/software troubleshooting experience
• Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring or similar roles
• Experience with report creation, monitoring and updating
• Experience in user study or data collection projects, preferred
