About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join the Data Management Control team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM).

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging data management risks with broad impact across WIM

• Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

• Provide consulting support to help business teams identify risks and design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

• Participate in Control Management projects and cross-functional working groups.

• Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies

• Collaborate with relevant business group and line of business control teams to identify risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

• Assist in developing and maintaining risk monitoring and reporting processes

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Management risk and controls

• Experience with Wells Fargo systems, applications, technology tools

• Experience with Wells Fargo risk programs, including RCSA and Issue Management

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Strong presentation and reporting skills

• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professionalism

• Effective time management and organizational skills

Job Expectations:

• Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
