Our company is seeking a Mechanical Program Manager with a strong background in mechanical systems for a hyperscale data center environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, VFDs, VAVs, fire life safety systems, and possess good working knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. The Mechanical Program Manager will have a strong focus on preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance in regard to Mechanical equipment. Implement strategies for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in a hyperscale data center environment.

  • Comply with client safety standards
  • Adhere to, and execute client runbook
  • Burn down Break Fix work orders
  • Vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life.
  • Manage projects related to mechanical systems upgrades, replacements, and new installations.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams, including electrical and control systems, to ensure system integration and optimize overall data center performance.
  • Monitor and analyze mechanical system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing and managing budgets for mechanical system operations and maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Communicate effectively with management, technical teams, and stakeholders on mechanical system performance, project status, and budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical systems operation and maintenance in a data center or similar mission-critical environment.
  • Subject matter expertise in chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, VFDs, VAVs, fire life safety systems.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must be willing to be on-call 24/7 to respond to emergencies and critical system failures.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

115,000.00 – 130,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
