Why This Role Is Important To ArcadiaThis position is responsible for assisting the Population Health Case Management Team on reporting services, communications, and coordination for one or more of the day-to-day functions. (e.g., customer service, reporting, medical record lookup, email, report reviews and distribution, and data entry.)
What Success Looks Like:In 3 months- Work on initial data entry- Work on health record training- Work on initial introduction to reports and Medical Group Guidelines- Initial learning regarding reporting and report locations as well as packet preparation- Initial learning about IPA’s and health plan requirements
In 6 months- Understand reporting and be familiar with report locations- Initial packet preparation and compilation- Assist Clinical Compliance with moderation of the pre-meetings with regards to PHM data- Have a basic knowledge of rules across all IPA’s- Understand the Health Plan requirements as outlined in the UM plan and attachments
In 12 months- Review processes and independently implement opportunities to streamline- Work on trouble-shooting issues with documentation and process compliance- Run, modify staff/QA reports- Assist in meeting the Health Plan requirements as outlined in the UM plan and attachments

What You'll Be Doing
- Reviewing incoming reports and emails and distributing based on priority
- Collecting data from medical records in multiple EMR systems and inputting into reports, and health plan portals
- Compile Committee packets, agendas, minutes and required attachments.
- Schedule reminders, meeting invites and pre-meetings to ensure timely packet submission
- Submit audit documents via the Health Plan portal
- Communicate professionally and develop positive relationships with providers and providers’ support staff
- Maintain confidentiality related to all computer programs, medical records and other data
- Other tasks, projects or duties as assigned by supervisor
What You'll Need To Have
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to prioritize daily work, work independently and adapt to change while still meeting timelines and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with management, co-workers, physicians/nurses, providers, and other external agencies/customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, Excel, PDF, PPP, and Adobe at minimum
- Experience managing multiple projects effectively
- Interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with analytics
- Verbal and written communication skills
