Job Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure - Network Engineer (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) I to join our growing team. In this role, you will optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues. Our ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience working with Cisco and Juniper routers. This position is a hybrid position with 5 days onsite and will be a W-2 Hourly 12-month contract with possible extension. 

The hourly rate is $25/hr. – $28/hr. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP routers, switches, and telephony CPE on customer premises.
• Design and deploy LAN and WAN connections, configuring hardware and software for efficient communication.
• Optimize network and system services to enhance performance and proactively monitor for issues.
• Identify and resolve network performance issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and collaborating with IT teams.
• Ensure network services meet company standards, with continuous monitoring and prompt response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Information Technology or a related field, and/or equivalent experience. 
• Specific knowledge and 0 - 3 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers.
• Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing.
• Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies.
• Experience with protocols.
• Firewall experience such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, and Checkpoint NG.
• Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE are a plus.
