Position Summary: You will be responsible for supporting the Defense Product Management Team and sales channels by creating written responses for customer facing documentation. including responses for tenders, proposals, white papers, RFIs, reports, presentations, quad charts, etc. As the Proposal Manager, you will be the point person for compiling and generating materials to respond to specific opportunities for our defense, law enforcement and global territories, and will work closely with colleagues and key stakeholders throughout all project lifecycle phases, including pre-RFP phases through award transition. You will be responsible for thinking strategically about our mission, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and customer- and product-specific win themes. As a Proposal Manager, you will support U.S. Federal pursuits, and must be familiar with U.S. Government acquisition regulations and guidelines (FAR/DFARS). You will be responsible for using the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly MS Word and Excel, with experience in desktop publishing and formatting highly desired.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the execution strategy and project plan for customer submission projects and serve as the central point of communication for assigned projects.
- Develop proposal management artifacts such as proposal outlines, compliance matrices, win themes, and proposal schedules.
- Coordinate and manage geographically dispersed proposal team, as well as organize all necessary stakeholders for relevant meetings including Product Management, Program Management, HR, Legal, IT Security, and others as necessary to support compliant proposal responses.
- Manage and lead multiple proposal efforts for Government customers simultaneously.
- Leverage experience with U.S. Government acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS) and U.S. federal pursuits to lead development of compliant submissions for government customers.*Support and lead assigned proposal initiation activities including, but not limited to facilitating kickoff meetings; driving internal start of work processes; developing proposal schedules; developing win themes and value propositions; and creating compliance matrices.
- Support and lead assigned proposal development activities including, but not limited to, developing data calls; creating compliant proposal outlines; performing compliance checks; leading color team reviews; incorporating review team feedback; interviewing subject matter experts; and enforcing deadlines while ensuring overall quality and on-time submission of proposal documents.
- Support Defense Product Management Team and sales channels with drafting questions to submit to the Government, and track and ensure incorporation of Government-issued Q&A into written responses.
- Develop and edit proposal graphics including but not limited to organizational charts, process flow diagrams, and product specification sheets.
- Support and lead assigned proposal writing activities including, but not limited to management, technical, past performance, resumes, corporate experience, and executive summaries, writing various plans including program/project management, quality, manufacturing, risk management, configuration management, logistics, transition, and supply chain/spare parts support.
- Collaborate with Defense Product Management team to understand product requirements and serve as the liaison between Defense Product Management and sales channels for assigned projects.
