This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale or New York.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
GBO Programs is the strategic program management arm for LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO). We lead and execute the most critical programs across business lines, enabling cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of high-impact initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional program management skills, a strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will develop and implement program plans; create timelines and milestones, track metrics, and execute change management strategies, all while ensuring alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Program Leadership:
- Own the full program lifecycle, from formulating data-driven hypotheses to delivering recommendations and driving execution.
- Develop comprehensive program plans that include timelines, milestones, success metrics, communications strategies, and operational readiness plans.
- Define and execute program governance including roles and responsibilities, meetings cadence and communications.
- Identify risk, develop and execute risk mitigation strategies. Escalate issues when necessary.
- Influence at all levels of the organization by advocating for program goals and priorities.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a thought partner with senior program sponsors to drive business outcomes.
- Build and manage relationships with cross-functional partners, including Strategic Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Management, Marketing, Product, Communications, Human Resources, and Enablement teams.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, risks, and resource needs.
Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular, clear, and concise updates to leadership, including risks, opportunities, and progress.
- Prepare executive-level presentations to highlight program impacts and recommendations.
Change Management:
- Serve as an agent of change, ensuring effective communication, training, and adoption strategies.
- Design change management strategies tailored to each program’s goals and stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, management consulting or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions.
- Collaborative team player with a track record of building trust and strong relationships across functions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base pay range for this role is $112,000 to $182,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
