We are seeking a team member and leader to join the “growth engine” of Collins Mission Systems.  This individual will work or lead as part of a combined team; and participate as the principal business development lead along with program managers and engineering, to uncover, pursue and capture new business in the Secure Mission Processing and Mission Compute upgrade of systems to enduring and next generation platforms.

What You Will Do​

• Lead all C4I&A OCS TMP Business Development activities to include:​

  • Lead the identification and development of SBU market requirements, and go-to-market strategies for enduring and next generation platforms

  • Responsible for developing, forecasting and capturing new  opportunities and maintaining key OEM and Military Service  relationships with new and existing customers

  • Pursuit, Order, Capture (POC)

  • Real/Win/Worth efforts

  • Price-to-win

•  This role requires:

  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills

  • Proven and appropriate leadership roles in HQAF, MAJCOM or COCOMs​

• Travel Requirements​ (30-50%)

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

• Experience in Military Services aviation platforms mission computing requirements and applications

Qualifications We Prefer​

• Knowledge and understanding of the DoD vision for multi-domain, connected battlespace, JADC2 efforts and requirements development

• Experience with / Understanding of US DoD budget and procurement processes and comfortable interacting with DoD SMEs and Senior leaders
