Automotive Detailer

Description

 Jim Shorkey Wexford Kia is in search of an Auto Detailer to join our team. For this opportunity, Jim Shorkey Auto Group is looking for an individual who can provide excellent customer service experience while performing exceptional vehicle cleaning car services for our customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Clean, polish, and recondition the exterior and interior of used vehicles
• Performs prep work for every vehicle 
• Operate a steam extractor for the interior
• Operate a buffer to compound the exterior
• Clay bar finish where appropriate
• Wet sand where needed, include headlights
• Light paint hand touch-up
• Maintaining the standard and quality of service of the company
• Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly
• Maintaining cleanliness of your work area and all tools and equipment
• Creating and maintaining a good work environment with coworkers

Requirements

•  Must be 18 years old
• Have good work ethic
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Prior working experience detailing cars
