Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager for our growing Architecture team in our Tampa, FL office. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide project management for our projects and teams.  

The responsibilities of an AECOM Architectural Project Manager include multi-discipline team management, scope and budget management, proposals and contracts, and client interface for our projects and pursuits. Candidates should have demonstrated use of industry project tools and resources to effectively manage projects and clients.  The Project Manager position is a growth track role, providing training and opportunity, while being responsible for the effective management of assigned projects.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use management tools and methods to effectively manage staff, projects, and workflow.  Understanding of project design phases, objectives, deliverables.
  • Actively organize, manage and communicate project status and objectives.
  • Balance design objectives with project requirements to achieve accurate and timely milestones.
  • Responsible for establishing workplans, schedules, budgets, and to track and manage through project life.
  • Responsible for financial performance and procedures, ensuring projects are managed to standards and expectations.
  • May be assigned multiple projects for management responsibility.
  • Works in collaboration with Project Architect, Principal, and other team members as required, while effectively managing the project.
  • Communicate project progress, interfacing with Client as well as project team.
  • Responsible for delivering quality design and client satisfaction.
  • Build relationships and trust with clients and team members.
  • Collaborates with team to ensure presentations and submissions are accurate and in order with scope/contract.
  • Manages with Project Architect the production and quality of design documents, including QA/QC procedures and standards.
  • Organize and lead meetings and presentations – ensuring proper material is prepared for purpose, preparing meeting minutes and actions.
  • Support and guide project team, as well as engaging to solve project and/or technical issues.
  • Contribute to office culture,and be part of building a collaborative and creative team.
  • Engage in developing contracts, scope of work, fees, and proposals.
  • Work with software platforms including Office, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCad, Adobe.
     

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 2 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • US Citizenship Required. 
  • Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing registration)

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4 years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated management of teams and projects. 
  • Previous client facing roles and experience.

Offered rate of compensation (FL locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,000- $125,000
