In today’s dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Development Organization at Colgate! The Walmart Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and Walmart in this constantly evolving landscape. As the Sr. Customer Development Manager for Walmart, you will support our Home Care category.
What you will do
- Have ownership & responsibility to deliver sales objectives on volume, spending and retail execution, while also running the P&L for the Dish and Fabric categories in Home Care.
- Be formulating and executing our strategic plan to ensure you reach maximum volume, profitability and customer service. You’ll be engaging and leading your cross functional partners across, Category, Digital, Omni Marketing & CS&L in our Rogers CEO, behind your category and customer objectives.
- Demonstrate consumer insights associated with strong Colgate brand equities to drive incremental growth and strengthen the customer investment, so that it is consistent with Retail Environment strategy, brand strategy, and shopper insights.
- Lead customer engagement, have direct relationship responsibility for Walmart representative on our Dish and Fabric business. Build and deliver a joint strategic plan with Walmart through monthly, quarterly & annually JBP connects.
- Work closely and engage with Retail Marketing, Brand Marketing and CXG teams in our HQ, New York Office to ensure we have the plans to deliver growth for the next 1-5 years +.
- Have people management & development responsibility for at least 1 direct report, as well as play a key coaching role to others on the direct & indirect team.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years in sales roles or adjacent experiences
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account
- Experience working in consumer product goods
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115,200.00 - $163,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
