About the Role

The Principal Consultant brings deep expertise and strategic guidance to solve complex client challenges and drive business growth. This role involves managing senior-level client relationships, contributing to securing high-value contracts, and expanding opportunities. They mentor teams to elevate competency and ensure high-quality work, while their thought leadership enhances Monks' reputation and attracts new business and talent. By strategically managing complex projects, they improve efficiency, drive revenue, foster client loyalty, and position Monks as a trusted advisor for long-term success.

Responsibilities:

• Identify client problems and develop compelling, world-class pitches that offer effective solutions.
• Support various initiatives flexibly and professionally as needed.
• Maximize margins and revenue for prospective and ongoing opportunities.
• Contribute to intellectual capital to establish Monks as an expert and thought leader in the industry.
• Maintain regular client communication to manage expectations and ensure alignment with their needs through effective stakeholder management.
• Orchestrate cross-functional and cross-team collaboration across Monks to enhance project results.
• Provide oversight on strategic and quality inputs for existing client projects to ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate legal requirements to ensure all contracts are compliant.
• Offer high-level strategic advice and guidance to clients, often leading complex, high-stakes projects, utilizing strong program management and business case definition skills.
• Deliver engaging presentations and communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, reinforcing Monks' expertise.
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

The essentials:

• 10+ years of proven experience in client management and business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective business communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient at creating compelling presentations and slide decks. 
• Ability to mentor and elevate team performance and competencies.
• Proficient understanding of cloud technology services and solutions with hyperscalers such as AWS & GCP. 
• Expertise in managing complex projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing revenue.

Not a must, but a plus:

• Cloud certifications for Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience in consulting roles across diverse industries.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through publications or speaking engagements.
• Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements in contract management.
