The Inventory & Order Fulfillment Coordinator at FAMIS, a PSE Group company,  is responsible for overseeing inventory control, order fulfillment, and ensuring that all products are stocked, shipped, and delivered in an efficient manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating product shipments, assigning routes, managing color match order logs, and handling claims in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Inventory Control & Cycle Inventory:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accurate product quantities are recorded in the system.
  • Identify discrepancies between physical inventory and system records and resolve them promptly.

Stocking Products:

  • Ensure that products are stored in an organized and accessible manner, following safety standards.
  • Maintain product organization to facilitate easy access during order fulfillment and inventory counts.

Shipping Orders Review:

  • Review and verify customer orders to ensure they are accurate and complete before shipment.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order processing, including packing, labeling and invoicing.   
  • Track and resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments, communicating with relevant departments and/or customers as needed.

Route Assignment:

  • Assign routes to drivers or shipping personnel to ensure efficient and timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitor the status of deliveries to ensure routes are followed as planned and deadlines are met.
  • Adjust routes as necessary based on real-time feedback and delivery requirements.

Color Match Order Log:

  • Maintain and track the color match order log to ensure all custom color orders are processed and fulfilled accurately.
  • Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure color matches meet customer specifications.
  • Monitor the status of color match orders.

Claims Handling:

  • Address and resolve product claims related to shipping, damage, or incorrect orders, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to investigate the cause of claims and work toward solutions.
  • Maintain a record of all claims and resolutions for future reference and reporting purposes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in inventory and orders.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Problem-solving abilities to manage claims and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities efficiently.
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
