Warbird Healthcare Advisors seeks a seasoned Interim Turnaround CFO for a Critical Access Hospital with affiliated clinics in the Midwest. This engagement is expected to begin in January 2026 and will play a pivotal role in stabilizing and strengthening the organization’s financial position.
While prior CAH experience is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on CFO with proven turnaround experience who can quickly assess challenges, execute solutions, and partner closely with executive and clinical leadership to implement Performance Improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Attributes
Lead implementation of Performance Improvement findings
Deep, hands-on involvement with EPIC Revenue Cycle
Complete implementation of Axiom/Strata productivity systems
Strengthen monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Identify and execute additional financial improvement opportunities
Provide strong oversight and management of clinic operations
Navigate and support discussions related to bond covenant breaches
