Your impact:
Candidate may work remotely within North Florida through a Hybrid Remote Work Agreement, or may work out of our Tallahassee Offices.
Responsible for the development of highway and interstate drainage and stormwater improvement projects.
Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Florida Department of Transportation, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope
Responsible for client development and fostering a relationship with clients
Lead and/or Assist in proposal, scope of work, and fee schedule preparation
Attend on-site and off-site client meetings throughout North Florida
Salary Negotiable, based on experience

8+ years of drainage design experience required
Florida PE is required
BSCE is required
Must be located in North Florida
FDOT drainage design experience required with competence in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD, and other stormwater modeling software
Experience in engineering projects to be able to analyze project progress to be in conformance with project budgets, quality, scope of work, client, and sub-consultant issues is a plus, but not necessary
Able to prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals, score of work, and fee schedules, is a plus, but not necessary
Able to prepare or assist in the preparation and maintenance of client reporting such as status reports and other writing or verbal communications to the client, is a plus, but not necessary
