About the role

 

Clean Harbors is looking for a Director of Business Process to join our safety conscious team! The Director will direct, maintain, and develop project management tools, processes, and workflows that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness allowing for lower DSO, accurate revenue, and effective cost controls. Manages support staff for AR, AP, and Project Management. Complies with company policy as well as State and Federal regulations.

  • Leads project management efforts and serves as a primary liaison between operations, business development, and finance to deliver data tracking and systems for management to control cost and accurately capture revenue.
  • Accountable for the on-time delivery of effective systems that meet business requirements.
  • Continuously works to resolve issues and mitigate site project management risk.
  • Identifies new technology and business intelligence needs or requirements.
  • Coach Project Managers on Processes and Systems essential to capture cost and revenue correctly.
  • Managing back-office responsibilities allowing Operation Managers time to focus on field activities.
  • Monitors internal project Kickoff meeting to ensure project startup requirements are met.
  • Display strong and positive communications with all external/internal clients and co-workers.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related required.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Project Management Certificate preferred.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications and business programs.
  • Works well under pressure and stressful conditions.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent enhanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 10-25%.
