About the role
Dobler and Sons are seeking an IT Coordinator to join their growing group of companies.
This IT Coordinator will serve the company and employees by answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, and maintaining the service records database. They will work directly with the current IT Manager and contracted MSP team members, and intermediaries for the IT holdings of the company and managed systems (7 locations). This could include supporting personnel, overseeing PC software configuration activities, overseeing hardware infrastructure and performing hands-on tasks when appropriate.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems.
- Monitor managed services ticketing system for info on issues occurring.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Enhance the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Provide support and guidance to personnel and assist in troubleshooting processes to support their professional development.
- Must be comfortable with travel within a 30-mile radius (as needed).
- Work with managed services vendors as well as other software and hardware vendors.
- Maintain information and plans with all site info.
- Ability to travel seasonally during growing seasons (2 to 3 days per visit, maybe every 1 to 2 months) between Sept and March.
Education, Certification, and Experience:
- 3 or more years of relevant experience, ideally in agriculture, farming, or produce production and packaging.
- Degree in Computer Science or related area OR entry Level Technical Certifications
- Project coordination, as in keeping up with project timelines and notifying appropriate team members of issues or exceptions.
- Prior Meraki experience is very helpful.
- Experience with customer service principles and practices.
- Knowledge of working with call centers and ticketing technologies.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.
- Proficient in data entry and typing skills.
- Knowledge of administration and clerical processes for documentation.
- Strong verbal communication.
- Listening skills, phone skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support end users while providing a superior customer service experience utilizing intermediate to advanced technical skills.
