Senior QA Manager - Automation

Suki is creating a new category in the health-tech space: the digital assistant. Our product will be the voice user interface for healthcare. What does that mean? Currently, doctors use electronic medical-record systems to take notes on patient encounters. This is a digital version of the paper charts that you may have seen in your doctor’s office or on TV. These systems can be hard to navigate and time-consuming to manage. Doctors would rather spend that time with patients. We are creating the solution. What will you do every day?

We are looking for a Senior QA Manager to drive all of Test Automation at Suki and lead the QA Automation team. Our test automation currently comprises functional, performance and stress tests covering various areas including mobile/web applications, native desktop application, AI/ML driven backend platform, microservices. Specifically you will:

• Lead a team of strong QA engineers to deliver on end to end automation efforts
• Drive Suki’s QA Automation strategy across functional, performance and stress areas
• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks/tests, testing tools and processes
• Translate product and UX requirements into test plans
• Collaborate with Engineering leaders and cross functional teams in Product, Technical support, release management to develop and meet organization goals 
• Work on multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Understand production systems, deployments and ensuring application performance and uptime
• Hire world class talent cutting across technology roles
• Create a collaborative environment across geographies
• Drive towards high standards of code quality through evangelisation of unit testing and integration tests
• Drive best practices around continuous integration and deployment

 

Qualifications*

• 7+ yrs of experience architecting and implementing QA automation tests, tools and processes
• 2+ years of experience managing test automation teams
• Strong familiarity with web/mobile/api/performance testing frameworks
• Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming
• Technical hands-on experience with test automation (Enterprise Software is a plus)
• Experience with agile methodologies and good exposure to DevOps/CICD models
• Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Self starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to deliver end-to-end products & features
• BA/BS degree in CS or EE; MS/PhD a plus
• Previous start-up experience is a plus
• Proficiency with gQL, gRPC and modern backend/frontend programming languages is a plus
