As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources, contributing to the success of our organization and developing your professional skills. You will work closely with HR professionals, gaining valuable insights into talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and more.
Employee Relations:
- Aid in maintaining employee records and HR databases.
- Respond to basic HR inquiries from employees and direct them to the appropriate resources.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and events.
HR Compliance and Policies:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support the HR team in updating and maintaining HR policy documents.
Administrative Support:
- Help with general administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining HR files.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and regulations (a plus but not required).
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
