BUSINESS UNIT

The function of the Content and Curation Product team (within the Procure Tech organization) is to provide full access to global supplier inventory in line with the traveller`s expectation of a one stop shop for all hotel related content as well as in line with corporate policies and company strategies. Following a modern technology-driven approach the Content and Curation Product team strives to provide such content through APIs and direct connectivity without any manual intervention needed maximizing content coverage, availability and competitiveness in the HRS booking channels.

POSITION

We are looking for a Product Manager for the Content and Curation Product Management Unit (PDC&C) to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with our cross-functional teams. 
This person will deliver great business value by being responsible for the development, enhancement and management of a portfolio of products. Products are customer facing and customer oriented. In PDC&C products are both related to end customers and suppliers.
By looking at the customer perspective the Product Manager must gather customer insights and understand where improvements need to be made and redesign process to do so working hand-in-hand with the Business organizations, Engineering teams, Customer Service and Digital Operations to improve the product value to customer via enhancements, new features and automation of process to reduce development, management and running cost of products, reduce manual workload and customer service costs. Focused on the developments that represent the highest revenue impact and the most frequent low valued activities created by the current product and implementation, identify quick wins and automate while creating customer value and increasing HRS performance and profitability derived from higher customer value. The Product Manager must be strategic and commercial value adding/creating towards internal and external stakeholders.
This professional understands the commercial landscape and operational impacts of the products he/she/they manage and works as a business partner to the Client Facing organizations to determine the highest customer adding value solutions and highest profitability margins in each product and partnership contract. He/She/They are an able steerer of priorities, data driven and customer value oriented.
 

CHALLENGE

•    Identify unique opportunities to differentiate HRS.
•    Prioritize product development to reduce competitive gaps and leap forward.
Manage Product Management Opportunities and Roadmap:
•    Create Customer Oriented products and aligned with market and strategic needs.
•    Ensure products and developments have solid business cases, address customer needs, and align with strategic objectives.
