Project Manager* Global Digitalization Projects for Product Supply and Quality 

 

As part of the BioNTech Global Digitalization Team you will lead digitalization projects in the field of software development and engineering of automated systems in the validated environment (GxP). In detail, we are looking for Software Project Managers in the area of Manufacturing Management consisting of the following digital computer systems:

 

• Historian
• Logbook
• Shiftbook

 

The goal is to rollout the computer system on a global scale to our manufacturing sites in Germany, USA, Rwanda and Singapore.

 

Your main responsibilities are: 

 

• Cross-functional planning, coordination, and monitoring of project progress
• Build, maintain, and manage high performing project teams
• Drive multiple interdisciplinary teams to ensure project scope and goals
• Establish and ensure efficient communication structures among internal and external project stakeholders and ensure information and content flow between interdisciplinary teams
• Contribution to content work and hands-on support of Subject Matter Experts in individual work packages and specific areas
• Monitor risks & issues related to individual projects, escalate to manager, determine and monitor mitigation and take corrective actions

• Analytical and structured thinking ability, balanced with attention to detail to successfully plan and oversee complex projects
• Strong technical, analytical, regulatory (GxP) and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive directions

 

Technical background

 

• Experienced in working in regulated environment and knowledge in the deployment of Computer Systems in the Manufacturing Environment such as MES, LIMS, PCS, etc. in the pharmaceutical industry. Specific knowledge in the area/ system is a plus.
• Computer System Validation experience would be highly beneficial
• Expierience with processes of clinical studies and trails is a plus

 

Project Management/ Portfolio Management

 

• High proficiency in Project Management and experienced in agile methodologies and hybrid project management methodologies
• Experienced in working in highly cross-functional teams and managing different stakeholder level and external implementation partners 

 

Softskills:

 

• Excellent communication and presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Very good English and German skills, written and orally
