Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will provide support to the Chromalloy Tampa site, which will include the development and deployment of HR strategies in support of short term and long-term business goals. The incumbent must have a variety of experience, education, and “hand’s on” administration in all aspects of HR.

This role requires the incumbent to work in a collaborative team environment and be a role model for the Site’s positive employee philosophy. 

The HRG will be responsible for delivering support to a client group of approximately 550 employees. 

Incumbents are required to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per FAA requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures compliance with company HR guidelines, corporate guidelines as well as state (FL) and federal laws.
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding all new associates at the site. Ensures positions are posted internally, externally and to state job boards. 
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone screens to ensure candidates meet position criteria/experience/skillsets, schedule onsite interviews, coordinate debrief sessions with hiring managers, and extend verbal offers to selected candidates in conjunction w/ site approval process
  • Partner with hiring managers regularly to scope job role criteria and candidate profiles in conjunction with available job descriptions.
  • Proactively build relationships with all employees by conducting daily walk through of operations areas, attends weekly Production Leadership Team meetings, to ensure open two-way communication with the department.
  • Drive and execute the site's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) including the training and education of Hiring Managers, Outreach Program, AAP recordkeeping and tracking, etc.
  • Responsible for record keeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations, etc.
  • Lead an Employee Engagement Committee and execute large scale employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • HR Certification: PHR, SPHR, similar (preferred)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing HR experience or recruiting experience (required)
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English (required)
