<p>Reporting to the Plant Controller, the role of NPI Site Lead is to be the NPI champion for the site, acting as the key point of contact on New Product Introduction, (including raw materials and packaging new to site) Production Transfers, Feasibility Trials etc between the Commercialisation team, and all involved site functions. This role is key to the delivery of NPI OTIF metrics.</p>

<p>NPI Site Lead will drive co-ordination of site-based stakeholder input, and points of engagement for all aspects of NPI, Production Transfer and Feasibility Trials and is responsible for ensuring that NPI and related workstreams are accurately reflected on the Site Master Schedule.</p>

<p>The NPI Site Lead will have visibility of the full Sales and NPI pipeline along with short, medium and long term commercialisations for the site and, working with the Commercialisation team and Supply Chain, will have responsibility for hosting the NPI pipeline review on site, ensuring the engagement and involvement of the appropriate site team members, to ensure a “no surprise” NPI environment, and that all potential NPI risks or issues are highlighted and escalated as early as possible in the process.</p>

<p>This role is also responsible, working the Master Data Management team, for ensuring that all data set-up roles on site, across relevant functional areas (Recipe Control, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehousing etc), have appropriate approvers / SMEs in place (with buddy cover), and that all site-based data is created accurately and within relevant Service Level Agreement.</p>

<p>The scope of this role covers all material types (Raw Materials, Finished Products, Packaging) for NPI, Production Transfers, Feasibility Trials and related activities, and covers all Kerry technologies being produced at site.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Note that this role may be a full time role, or a percentage of a role, depending on the volume and complexity of NPI and related activities for any particular site.</p>
<h2>Key responsibilities</h2>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the main point of contact for NPI execution on site, ensuring that NPI requirements are well understood by site-based functional owners, and that the Site Master Schedule reflects NPI and related deliverables</li>
<li>Ensure early SFDC Opportunity lifecycle visibility on key opportunities for site functional stakeholders – well in advance of commercialisation of the product, where relevant (eg raw material new to site etc)</li>
<li>Working with the Supply Planning team and Supply Chain at site, ensure that the site has capacity to support any potential inbound NPI, or raise an escalation via Commercialisation team and Supply Planner, to ensure that any capacity or other concerns are addressed as early in the opportunity lifecycle as is possible</li>
<li>Working with key stakeholders, ensure that NPI OTIF failures are being fully root-caused on a weekly basis, to enable Executive reporting, and remedial action</li>
<li>Working with the Commercialisation and Master Data teams, throughout the commercialization process, ensure that site related data is at the required level of accuracy and all SKU SAP functional data has been completed promptly and accurately </li>
<li>Working with the Commercialisation team, ensure that required site handover information (process instructions, quality requirements, specification, production instructions, gold standards, reference standards, SCM requirements, customer specific requirements) have been captured on the commercialisation record in SFDC.</li>
<li>Working with RDA, Commercialisation and site supply chain, ensure that approved Factory Trials are executed on time, with all information required by site in place, with trial outcomes fully documented and fed back to relevant stakeholders. Supporting the move of development skus from RDA to Operations, based on agreed business rules</li>
<li>Ensure site-based workflow routing is up to date and current and that buddy cover is in place as required.</li>
<li>Working with the Master Data Management team, ensure that any mass recipe updates due to PIPs or other operational reasons, that have been appropriately approved, are executed in full at site, and communicated to all site stakeholders</li>
