Position Summary
The Associate Manager, Retail Connections will work with some of the fastest-growing beer brands in the country, including Pacifico and Victoria, as well as emerging innovation brands like Fresca Mixed. This role supports the creation, planning, and execution of strategic multicultural retail campaigns, shaping consumer interactions and perceptions at the point of purchase. The Associate Manager will drive collaboration and consistency across internal teams to develop innovative retail programs and creative consumer promotions. The ideal candidate will have a marketing, sales, and consumer-focused mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Bring our beer brands to life by assisting in the development and implementation of a year-round promotional calendar and integrated retail campaigns to maximize sales opportunities and consumer conversion at retail.
  • Help develop and execute retail programming, including creating and ordering point-of-sale materials, sweepstakes development, and CRM development.
  • Manage agency partners to develop impactful programming that meets consumer needs, satisfies retailer business objectives, and builds brand equity for Constellation’s beer portfolio.
  • Author detailed, insights-driven agency briefs, manage campaign timelines, and ensure timely printing and shipping before market launch.
  • Work with print production vendors to generate estimates, manage production timelines, and deliver thematic Point-of-Sale (POS) elements, merchandise, and display enhancers.
  • Assist in the annual strategic planning process, aligning internal Marketing teams, Consumer/Shopper insights, Sales, and agency efforts for planning presentations and tools for the Constellation organization and wholesaler network.
  • Recommend and implement comprehensive retail promotional plans for new product introductions and line extensions, including package extensions and new product lines.
  • Recap campaign performance to deliver actionable conclusions and optimize future programs.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with sales, category, insights, brand, e-commerce, media, sponsorship, and field marketing teams to strengthen integrated marketing campaign execution.
  • Manage the team budget, including purchase order creation, invoice tracking, and monthly budget forecasting for assigned brands.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in trade marketing, brand marketing/management, or agency roles with fast-moving CPG brands.
  • Strong financial acumen in budget management and processes.
  • Initiative to learn new skills and improve existing systems and processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, action-oriented team where priorities change, and time frames are critical.
  • Agile and adaptable to change.
  • Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with tactical execution, including proofreading and copy editing.
  • Strong ability to foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Motivated self-starter with a sense of urgency, a desire to continue learning, and multi-project management and accountability.
  • Maturity and responsibility to work successfully within the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry and understanding of the three-tier distribution system.
