IL Registered Nurse Dialysis - FT Days

Job Overview:
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients before, during, and after dialysis, including monitoring vital signs and lab results.
- Dialysis Management: Set up and operate dialysis equipment, initiate treatments, and monitor patient stability.
- Education: Teach patients and families about dialysis, diet, fluid management, and medication.
- Medication Administration: Administer and monitor prescribed medications related to dialysis.
- Emergency Response: Handle complications and emergencies that occur during treatment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of treatments, progress, and incidents.
- Care Coordination: Work with other healthcare professionals to create and follow care plans.
- Infection Control: Follow protocols to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections.
- Patient Support: Offer emotional support and address patient and family concerns.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality initiatives and stay updated on best practices and regulations.
Required: Certifications/Licenses:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
Experience:
At least one year previous experience in clinical unit preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required. Requires physical stamina and emotional stability.
Compensation:
Hourly Range-$31.25-$46.88
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Bonus:
Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
